By accessing or using VELA AI, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2.Description of service
VELA AI provides an age-adaptive AI companion with role switching, guardian tools, and bias review features. The product is in beta, so features, availability, and performance may change as we improve the platform.
3.Eligibility
Users under 13 require a guardian-managed account with verifiable consent. Guardians are responsible for accuracy of profile information and for monitoring use as described in our privacy materials.
4.Acceptable use
You agree not to use VELA AI for illegal activity, harassment, exploitation, attempts to bypass safety controls, or to generate harmful content. We may suspend access for violations.
5.Guardian responsibilities
Guardians who create or approve child profiles remain responsible for how those profiles are used, for keeping credentials secure, and for reviewing alerts and summaries provided in the dashboard.
6.Intellectual property
VELA AI owns the platform, branding, and related materials. A patent application is pending for core architecture. You receive a limited license to use the service according to these terms.
7.Disclaimer
VELA AI is not a licensed medical provider, attorney, financial advisor, or therapist. Outputs are informational. You should consult licensed professionals for medical, legal, financial, or mental health decisions.
8.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VELA AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.
9.Changes to terms
We may update these terms as the product matures. We will post the new effective date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
